I’m Denielle Rigoglioso-Lambert, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), private practice owner, and coach. I’m also the creator of the 9-Thrive Private Practice Academy. After building my own successful private practice, I became passionate about helping other therapists design thriving, sustainable businesses, without burnout or sacrificing the life you love.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by the demands of running a practice. Whether you’re dealing with client burnout, struggling to find the right balance between your clinical work and business growth, or just feeling stuck in the grind, I’ve been there. I built two of the largest community mental health/outpatient agencies in Virginia. I was managing 150 staff and generating over $5 million in revenue. But I realized something along the way: you can have success without sacrificing your peace of mind.
That’s why we created this retreat, designed to help you reset, recharge, and reignite the passion that led you to start your private practice in the first place. I’m also the creator of Therapy Intensives Academy and Intensive Growth Blueprint. After building a thriving private-pay practice from the ground up and helping over 100 therapists do the same. I became passionate about showing other therapists how to grow businesses that are profitable, sustainable, and deeply aligned with their values. Will I earn Continuing Education (CE) credits?
Yes! The retreat offers 6hrs CE workshops that are both experiential and highly relevant to private practice clinicians. ASW and NBCC approved!
What if I don’t know anyone else attending?
That’s completely okay! Many attendees come alone, and this retreat is designed to foster deep connection and support. By the end of the week, you’ll leave with new friendships, a strong professional network, and a renewed sense of community.
Is this retreat tax-deductible?
Since this retreat includes professional development, CEs, and business coaching, it is likely tax-deductible as a business expense. We recommend consulting with your tax professional for specific guidance.
Can I bring a guest, what are the rooms like?
Yes! You can add on a non-attendee guest at check out! (Guest add ons are for family or partners only) If you are unsure, please message us and ask before booking!
Please note there are no shared rooms - these are all private one bed suites!

What is the included excursion?
Embark on a magical catamaran and snorkeling tour to explore hidden gems near Nosara—to the rare Pink Sand Beach and pristine waters of San Juanillo Bay, you’re in for a treat. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, dolphins, sting rays and more! Surrounded by an offshore barrier reef, this location is perfect for shelling and wildlife sightings—keep an eye out for howler monkeys nearby! Lunch will be included on the boat! (Excursion is Wednesday 1/14/2026)
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate your dietary needs, please let us know your preferences when you register and we will review that with the private chef.
Where exactly is the retreat located and how do I get there?
The retreat will be held in a beautiful, serene location in Nosara, Costa Rica. This 15 Bedroom - 4 Villa Luxury resort is 5 minutes from the beach!
We will provide transportation to and from the Liberia airport 1/12/26 and 1/16/2026, however if you would like to rent your own transportation I highly recommend so that you can explore all that Nosara has to offer!
You will need to book your flight into the Liberia Airport if you would like to utilize our transportation options!
